With all biases to the side, the Inland Empire holds one of my favorite Hip-Hop scenes. With the likes of Trizz, Noa James, Curtiss King, Faimkills, Speak, Hit-Boy, Audio Push, & many others pushing the Inland into a bright light, Stevie Crooks leads a pack. The first time I ever heard of Stevie Crooks was back in 2012 from my friend, Joey. She told me about how I needed to start looking into the I.E. scene & how Stevie Crooks puts on for the Inland. Roughly three weeks later I was introduced to the scene at The Common Ground, aka The Vibe in Riverside, where Noa James, Lesa J & BrickToYaFace help show case talents from near & far. In comes walking in the modern Titan, Crookie. Ski mask on, Hennessy in his veins, The MurdaVal Monster came to put on a show. Now years later, Stevie Crooks has released notable projects such as, "Born on Olympus" & "Bar Kelly". The Float God proves his worth to the Inland in his new joint: "Prophet". Shout out to the whole Inland Empire music scene, y'all really pushing forward. Also, shout out to Joey, do ya thing girl don't stop.

My Personal Favorite Bars:
"I am the reason these youngin's out here know there's more they can be.
Just keep it G.
Nobody, I repeat No body
Work like me, I out work myself.
Trying to make an empire inside an Empire
when nobody out here is willin' to help"
