The first time I ever heard the rap group "Slay Squad" was at CurtissKingBeats.com's very own, Curtiss King release party for Atychiphobia. I remember walking into The Common Ground & hearing, "SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY SQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY SQUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDD. SLAYYYYYYY..." I think you get the point.
I've never seen more mosh pits at The Common Ground, better yet at ANY Hip-Hop show of my entire life. These kids know how to put on a performance & certainly know how to drop some fucking music. The group Slay Squad consists of many individual artists that add their flavor to various joints on the album. I remember when, "Think Less Trap More" dropped, I remember thinking, "Damn, Slay Squad dropped an album with a ton of songs, they can't continue to make music at this rate, dropping such fat projects. But goddamn, the 111 didn't fuck around again & went & doubled "TLTM" with the release of 47 songs. This post only consists of one of the albums, for the other album, "Souls for the Feast", click the link.
